Grounded in Scripture and centered on Christ, Genesis Mission Bible Training Center (a division of Mission Teens Inc) is a long-term residential discipleship program for men and women seeking freedom, healing, and a new way of life through Jesus Christ.
More than
a recovery program.
Genesis isn't your typical 28 day program built around being educated on how to manage an "incurable disease," through a psychiatric lens. It is a Christ-centered environment designed to help residents go deeper — to recognize the reality of spiritual warfare, learn how to stand on the Word of God, encounter the power of the Holy Spirit, and rediscover their identity in Christ.
Each day is built around Bible study, prayer, worship, structure, and service, giving residents space to heal, grow, and become physically separated from substances while developing the spiritual foundation needed for long-term transformation.
Curriculum
Each day includes 5.5 hours of Bible study through classes, devotionals, worship, and biblical teaching. Residents walk through a variety of Bible courses that help them gain a strong understanding of both the Old and New Testaments, while also learning how to apply Christian principles to everyday life.
Our goal is not simply to help residents complete a program — it is to help them encounter Christ, grow in a personal relationship with Him, and begin living with renewed purpose, discipline, and hope.
the training amounts to
approximately 1 year of
Bible college
Optional Staff Training Program
Upon completion of the program, the graduate may be offered an additional 10-12 month staff-training program
Stage 4:
Trainee Counselor
Residents step into a greater leadership role as they prepare to graduate, encouraging newer residents, serving with purpose, and continuing to grow in faith, responsibility, and confidence.
Stage 3: Resident
Residents continue growing spiritually while taking on greater responsibility and receiving additional privileges as they become more grounded in the program and community life.
Stage 2: Trainee
Residents continue growing in their faith while learning healthy responsibility, consistency, and structure in a supportive Christ-centered environment.
Stage One: Probationary
Residents begin settling into the daily rhythm of the program, learning what to expect, building trust, and taking the first steps toward a stronger foundation in Christ.
How it Works
Our discipleship training program is divided into four stages, each lasting 2-4 months, and is designed to be highly structured.
A typical
Day @ Genesis
A typical day at Genesis Mission is built around structure, faith, and growth. From wake-up at 7:00 AM to lights-out at 10:30 PM, residents move through a steady rhythm of Bible study, devotions, meals, chores, counseling, exercise, work projects, recreation, and community life. Each part of the day is designed to help residents build discipline, deepen their faith, and develop healthy habits for lasting change. Through the program, residents begin a journey of faith and transformation, guided by the Word of God and supported by committed staff. The goal is not only freedom from addiction, but a life rebuilt with purpose, hope, and a stronger foundation in Christ.
